Originally created this using Processing for 'Creative Coding'. I decided to recreate my project in flash for easier distribution.

The brief in a nutshell required you to analyse any existing system/ process in the world and recreate it using Processing.

I decided to replicate one of the most archetypal moves for breaking - the flare.

The flare involves orbiting around a central pivot and meeting certain conditions at certain points of the orbit. For example, at one point in time you have to kick one leg, push your hips forward, and plant both hands down.

Similarly to how the ‘Guitar hero’ controller is a watered down version of a guitar, the controls to my flare simulator were constrained to just the timing of the arms.
